THE new teams desperate to impress My Kitchen Rules chef Colin Fassnidge have only one judge to impress, but double the pressure to perform.
With two rounds of this year's instant restaurants already completed, the competition's frontrunners have already emerged - so who in the new crew has what it takes to challenge for the MKR title?

The secret round teams are:
WESTERN AUSTRALIA: Drasko and Bianca

THIS couple know all about competition, having met as rival journalists in Broome. Four years Bianca's junior, 27-year-old Drasko had to work fast to impress as his ambitious partner had plans to move to London. A shared passion for cooking bonded them together, while their competitive streaks should make them a force on MKR. He was born in Serbia, while her heritage is Portuguese and Burmese so expect plenty of spice.
FAVOURITE FLAVOURS: Chilli and nose-to-tail cooking

QUEENSLAND: Rob and Dave

FRIENDS for 21 years, these active dads met through their children, share a love of the outdoors especially fishing and take turns in hosting family dinner parties. Both self-employed, Rob and Dave like to cook from scratch (with the exception of using canned tomatoes and stock if they're short on time). They have passed on their love of food and cooking to their kids, who often ring their fathers for tips. Just don't underestimate the Dad factor.

FOOD literally brought this South African couple together - Lynn, a former restaurant manager, asked Tony to get out of her way and when he refused she threw a cheeseburger in his face. But that didn't deter him, or the seven times he had to ask her to marry him before she said yes. They are polar opposites when it comes to cuisine - he loves comfort food and she shares Pete Evan's passion for paleo.
FAVOURITE FLAVOURS: Anything with chilli, garlic, or ginger
WEAKNESS: Time management
VICTORIA: Jane and Emma

DESPITE being high school friends AND flatmates, Jane and Emma are an odd couple. Jane is a straight-laced lawyer, highly-organised and just as highly strung; while Emma is laid-back, free-flowing advertising executive who doesn't do the dishes. They entered MKR after perfecting recipes during 'Gourmet Sundays'...their favourite night to cook.
FAVOURITE FLAVOURS: The med dinner parties and dessert
WEAKNESS: Spicy food, Jane hates chilli.
NEW SOUTH WALES: Will and Steve

British-born lads Will and Steve both moved to Sydney in the same month, to work for the same investment company but it wasn't until Steve shared his gourmet tuna sandwich in the office kitchen that the two became friends. They discovered a shared interest in cooking, food and football (the round ball variety). When they were both made redundant, they both looked on the bright side: now they had time to enter MKR.

THESE blonde bombshells don't look like your average butchers, but between studying double degrees at university and working as drink promotion girls in their spare time, that's they're day job. Oh and they've modelled as well. They became friends at uni but bonded over food and the fact they both get plenty of attention from blokes.
FAVOURITE FLAVOURS: Nikki specialises in Croatian food; Katie's a ninja on the knives.
